Finding $450 Rental

As we took our search online, we were able to look at multiple listings and save on gas money and time. I typed into googles search engine '$450 rent (city, state)'.  I got multiple sites showing results for $450 rent. A site that came up pretty often was http://www.padmapper.com/. At first I ignored this site but then decided to check it out. What it does is it shows red baloons over locations with that price. A downer is that if a unit has 3 rooms it would divide the total rent by the number of rooms so good luck fining a 1 bed or 2 bed for 450. it may be 1000 and 3 rooms so the price per room comes out lower than 450. But if you click on the red balloons and find the ones that fit, you can google that address on a separate search and find more information about the property and even a phone number to call the property management company.

The last 3 words are key in finding good priced units! Property Management Company. Now that is a stroke-of-luck-find for me because as a beginner on searching for rentals online, I searched the inefficient way by simply googling the keywords. But I learned that if I ever stumble upon a good priced property for me, I would find who the property management company (PMC) is. Then I would google the PMC to see their listings and waaalaaa, most likely they will have other listings in the same price range. How nice is that. I do searches for PMC rentals all the time now.

That's your tip for the day. Good luck in your search and we are doing well as our wedding date approaches and we will have a nice, affordable place to live.
